This live series featuring Archives Outreach Administrator Alicia Melton, will highlight historical events and achievements of Black Americans, both local and nationwide. Today in Black History with Alicia Melton The host will ask the social media followers to share a story they heard about the Magic City and then research these stories and see if there are any supporting documents that might be able to prove if it is true or not. This live series hosted by Archivist Jocelyn Hurtado, will begin with pre-fixed topics and future episodes will be based on audience suggestions.
